Who can enter?

This promotion is only open to individuals who are New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Haier retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex‐spouse, child or step‐child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step‐parent, grandparent, step‐grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister or 1st cousin.

Promotional Period

The promotion commences NZDT 12.01am 6 December 2024 and closes NZDT 11.59pm 15 December 2024 ( Promotional Period ). Entries received after this date will be ineligible. To be eligible for entry, you must remain signed up to Haier's newsletter until at least the Draw Date.

The prize draw will take place on 16 December 2024 (Draw Date). The winners will be the first 30 valid entries drawn at random on the Draw Date. The winners will be contacted using the email address they supplied on the entry form within 24 hours of the Draw Date (including notifying each winner of the exact date and session of the ASB Classic 2025 that they have won a double pass to). If the winner does not reply and accept the prize within three (3) days of being notified (including by nominating their plus‐one), the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to the next valid entry drawn at random. The winner may not change their chosen plus‐one once confirmed to the Promoter.

How to enter

To enter the promotion and be eligible to go into the draw to win, you must, during the Promotional Period, complete the Haier ASB Classic 2025 promotion entry form above and validly sign up (or already be signed up) to receive Haier's newsletter by opting‐in to receive marketing communications with a valid email address.

Entrants are responsible for ensuring that complete and correct details are recorded on the form. You are not permitted to use any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that enables you to automatically enter or enter repeatedly. Any cost associated with accessing the promotion website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.

The Promoter may announce the winners on the Haier Facebook and/or Instagram page.

General

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, misdirected or illegible entries. Incomplete, illegible or indecipherable entry forms will be deemed invalid. Entries are deemed to be submitted at the time of receipt by the Promoter or its agents.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and/or due to circumstances which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant, or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any person who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter can request proof of identity, age, and ordinary residence of the winner and their plus-one at any time.

The Promoter will not be liable if a winner (and/or their plus-one) is unable to claim the prize and/or is unable to attend the ASB Classic 2025 date/session allocated to them, nor is the Promoter liable for any prize that is lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged. No part of the prize is transferable or exchangeable and it cannot be taken as cash. If a prize, or part of a prize, is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, may substitute the prize with an alternative prize of substantially the same or greater value.

The Promoter's decision is final on all matters related to this promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winner (and their plus‐one) takes the prize at entirely their own risk. Insofar as is permitted by applicable law, the Promoter and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death arising in connection with the promotion (including, but not limited to, liability arising in connection with (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after receipt by the Promoter); (d) any variation in prize value; (e) any tax liability incurred by a entrant; or (f) participation in the promotion or use of a prize), except where it is caused by the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoter or its agents.

By entering the promotion, the winner consents to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion, and for his/her name and image to be used for publicity purposes by the Promoter in printed and/or online formats anywhere in the world without the need for further approval or compensation and for an unlimited period of time.

The Promoter (or its associated or affiliated companies or third parties who have licensed its brands to the Promoter or contributed to the application) (”Content Owner“) own or license from third parties all application content. All application content remains the sole property of the applicable Content Owner and is protected under all relevant copyright, trade mark and other applicable laws. Nothing on the application should be construed as granting any license or rights to use or distribute any application content, without the Promoter's express written agreement or of the other applicable Content Owner.

The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, suppliers, or use such information to contact the entrant in relation to this promotion. In addition, if the entrant checks the relevant box, the Promoter may use the entrant’s personal information for the purposes specified at the time of collection. These Terms and Conditions are deemed to incorporate our Privacy Policy and by entering the promotion, you accept the terms and conditions of our see our Privacy Policy. By accepting the prize, you warrant that you have all necessary rights and consents to share your plus‐one's personal information with the Promoter to use such personal information to supply the prize and in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.

The Promoter may announce and/or advertise this promotion on Facebook and/or third party social media platforms. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Meta or other third party social media platforms. Participants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and/or agencies acting on its behalf and not to Meta or other third party social media platforms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that you fully release and will hold Meta and other third party social media platforms harmless from all liability arising in any way out of this promotion.

Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

If any provision or part‐provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that will not affect the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
