Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything it claims to be! Excellent purchase. Fantastic purchase. Our first front loader and it is such an upgrade from our old top loader: generally, without a central agitator the clothes stay better intact; the machine’s balance is better when spinning; it is stackable; uses less water and the wash results are superb. Pros: Specifically, this Haier model’s functions are really useful. The programs aren’t too long, especially with eco-mode (which isn’t always more economical) and I can run the longer ‘sanitise’ program overnight anyway. The machine will also auto-detect the weight of the load and adjust its settings accordingly - smart. I also love the tune at the end: reminds me of a sea shanty and it’s tempting to dance a jig to it! Cons: The wifi function is a touch gimmicky in my opinion: the app will tell you when the cycle has finished, which is useful; but the remote start has little value as starting a load remotely within your home has to be done within two minutes of having physically turned the machine on, as the auto-turnoff function activates after two minutes, in which case one has to go to the machine to turn it back on again anyway. (I would encourage Haier to put some more thought into this.) I’d also like delay start, but this model doesn’t claim to have it anyway. Some will find the spin cycle a little noisy, but that doesn’t bother me. Overall, delighted with the machine and I would purchase it again.
